Ps5 controller L2 button not working properly. Had my PS5 for a few months. Stock controller is acting up. L2 button is constantly being pressed even when I am not using controller. Is there an easy fix or do I replace it. Yep, your little spring inside next to the l2 trigger is either broken or popped off. Why does this have to be so petty and difficult to be able to use any peripheral that is shaped like a controller? I have a ps5 console, 2 ps5 controllers and 2 PCs. I ownloaded Epic Games and bought 2 PC copies so my fiancée and I could play on our own screens. Firstly, you have to go to the console’s main screen. Next up, you have to go to the top of the main menu on your console. Then, you have to move to the “Games” tab and select the Fortnite game. After doing so, you have to press the “Options” button on your controller. Finally, choose the “Check for Update” option from the drop Click on Bluetooth & devices in the Settings menu. Check if Bluetooth is turned On. If not, click on the switch to turn it on. On your PS5 controller, press and hold the Share and PlayStation button until the light begins to flash to put it into pairing mode. On your PC, click on the Add device button or the Add device window at the top. The first thing you’ll need to do is navigate to the PlayStation 5’s settings menu using the gear in the top right corner. Next, navigate all the way down to the “Sound” section of the To discover the input device: Go to the “Steam” tab, settings, and select “Controller”. Next, choose “General Controller Settings”. You can also configure the Big Picture mode operation below. The controller will be detected when you click on any settings except “General Controller Settings”. Now, since the android 12 update, my controller no longer works in fortnite. The buttons don't do what they're supposed to, and when I go into settings to click the play station controller option, it quickly switches it to "generic" controller. It connects to my phone fine but it does not work in game. I recently discovered that when turning on my PS5 from rest mode with the controller plugged into the system, it doesn’t work right. The D-Pad and sticks do not respond on the Home Screen so it seems I’m stuck on the explore tab. But I can hit X to go into the tab, and it works as it should. Go back, doesn’t work. Hit the PS button, works QzQQ.
